Confidential conversation
Everything you share stays between you and Michael. No judgment, no forms to fill out first — just someone who listens and understands.
You don’t have to have a plan. You just have to make the call.
Michael answers personally. No call center, no judgment — every conversation is confidential.
This is the whole process — you won't be handed off or passed around. You'll always know exactly who you're talking to and what happens next.
Everything you share stays between you and Michael. No judgment, no forms to fill out first — just someone who listens and understands.
Michael helps you understand what's really happening and what the realistic options are — plainly, without clinical jargon or pressure to decide on the spot.
If it's urgent, Michael can respond the same day: assessment, placement, and — if it comes to it — staying with your son personally to help him stabilize.
There's no wrong time to call. If it's the middle of the night, that's alright — that's when families need this most.
Every family's situation looks a little different. Here's who Michael works with most.
Shaky recovery — holding, but barely. A little extra structure now can be the difference between a wobble and a fall.
Just out of treatment — the first weeks home are the most fragile stretch. Daily accountability matters most right here.
About to relapse — you can see it coming before he can admit it. That instinct is worth trusting, and acting on.
Gambling addiction — hidden longer than drugs or alcohol. It's Michael's specialty, one of the few in Dallas-area recovery coaching, and he's in gambling recovery himself.
Failure to launch — stuck, disconnected, drifting between home and nowhere. Sometimes what's needed isn't rehab, it's a steady hand.

One phone number.
One person.
No rotating case list, no hand-offs. When you call, you get Michael — every time.
Michael works across the whole arc — from the first call to steady footing.
Drug & alcohol coaching, twice a week in person minimum, with daily check-ins — sponsors, home groups, meetings that stick.
Michael's specialty — plus a free weekly support group, in person or on Zoom, open to anyone.
ARISE-model, led by an ARISE-certified interventionist — honesty and love, never ambush.
Private pay keeps this personal, flexible, and discreet — one point of contact, one invoice.
Same-day assessment and placement; Michael personally stays with a client to help him stabilize.
Safe transport to and from detox, treatment, or sober living — anywhere in Texas and beyond.
Michael was a nationally ranked junior tennis player before he ever touched a drug — he tried alcohol and drugs for the first time at 16, and within a week he was off and running. Cocaine led to heroin. There was a stretch when he was homeless. It was the pre-fentanyl era; by his own account, if fentanyl had been around back then, there's a good chance he wouldn't be here to tell it.
He built 10 years of sobriety — and relapsed. So unlike a lot of people in this field, he knows relapse from the inside, not just from a textbook. He's been sober again for roughly five years, and he's open about being in gambling recovery himself, too.
He's worked inside the treatment industry since 2005 — tech, admissions, business development, leadership. "The further I got from the guys, the less connection I felt." YANA is his way back to the work that actually matters: sitting with a family at their worst moment and staying with them through it.
He has also served in the recovery ministry at Highland Park United Methodist Church, one of the largest Methodist churches in the country, on SMU's campus.
In-person, per week — minimum.
Plus daily check-ins. Real accountability, not a monthly phone call.
Gambling addiction hides in plain sight — no outward signs, just quiet damage that can go unnoticed for years. Michael leads a free, confidential group every week, and it's open to anyone, whether or not they ever become a client.
If it's easier to reach out quietly, fill this out and Michael will follow up personally at the number and time you ask for. If it's urgent, calling directly is still the fastest way to reach him.
What you share here is between you and Michael.
If Michael can't pick up, leave a message — he returns every call personally.
This is a conversation, not a sales call.
